Item FARA Annual Report 2021(FARA, 2022-01-21) FARAItem FARA Corporate Annual Report 2023(Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA), 2023) Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA)This report presents the 2023 Annual Programme Progress and Performance of the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) and provides a cumulative summary of achievements under the 2019–2023 Business Plan cycle. The report highlights FARA’s contribution to advancing Africa’s agricultural transformation through partnerships, capacity strengthening, knowledge management, and policy support aligned with the CAADP-Malabo agenda. During 2023, FARA implemented fifteen major projects and achieved an overall technical performance of 93 per cent, focusing on scaling agricultural innovations, strengthening research and innovation systems, and promoting evidence-based policymaking. Key results included establishing multi-stakeholder platforms, supporting national policy reforms in several countries, expanding continental knowledge platforms, and engaging over one million users through digital knowledge services. The organisation also strengthened North-South and South-South collaboration, mobilised new funding, and facilitated science-policy dialogue and intra-African trade discussions.
