Item A Report and Guidelines on the Operationalisation of the PANAP Website and Knowledge Platform(FARA, 2026-05) FARA, JRC, ACU, CORAF, CSIR Ghana, EUThis report presents the operationalisation framework, technical architecture, and implementation guidelines for the PANAP Website and Knowledge Platform developed under the StEPPFoS project. The platform constitutes a federated and interoperable digital infrastructure designed to support evidence-based policymaking, research collaboration, knowledge exchange, and stakeholder engagement within the AU–EU Food and Nutrition Security and Sustainable Agriculture (FNSSA) Partnership. Initially developed within the European Commission Joint Research Centre’s DataM environment, the PANAP platform has been expanded and integrated into FARA’s institutional digital infrastructure through the StEPPFoS Website and Knowledge Platform. The system links multiple complementary digital services, including FARADataInformS, ColabNet, AARIISpace, and external learning platforms, creating a coordinated knowledge ecosystem that supports modelling, policy analysis, training, collaboration, and long-term institutional sustainability. The report documents the platform’s architecture, operational features, interoperability design, governance arrangements, and integration strategy. It highlights the federated approach adopted under WP3, which enables coordinated access to distributed knowledge systems while maintaining institutional mandates, data governance standards, FAIR principles, and GDPR compliance. The publication further outlines achievements, stakeholder engagement activities, planned interoperability enhancements, and future scaling opportunities for supporting regional policy networks and continental research initiatives across Africa and Europe.Item Annual Project Progress Report(FARA, 2026-05) FARA, Agrinatura, EU, REAThis publication presents the Annual Project Progress Report for the StEPPFoS project and provides an overview of project implementation progress, deliverable submissions, and coordination activities undertaken during the reporting year. The report documents achievements across multiple work packages and outlines the status of deliverables submitted to the European Commission under the Horizon Europe funding framework. The report summarizes progress made in advancing evidence-based policy practice for sustainable food systems through activities related to research coordination, capacity building, stakeholder engagement, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, knowledge platform operationalisation, data management, and PANAP network expansion. It highlights completed deliverables, responsible lead institutions, reporting timelines, and implementation status across the consortium. The publication further demonstrates the project’s collaborative governance structure and monitoring arrangements, emphasizing timely deliverable submission, coordination among consortium partners, and implementation tracking mechanisms designed to support accountability and efficient project management throughout the StEPPFoS lifecycle.Item Database of PANAP & FNSSA Roadmap Activities, Data and Modelling Tools(FARA, 2026-05) FARAThis report presents Deliverable D1.4 of the StEPPFoS project, focusing on the development of a comprehensive database of projects, programmes, policies, roadmap activities, data systems, and modelling tools related to agrifood systems across Africa. The database integrates information from PANAP and non-PANAP institutions and provides a structured framework for mapping thematic priorities, implementation mechanisms, policy linkages, and institutional collaboration patterns. The report combines survey findings, desk reviews, validation exercises, and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) to generate insights into governance structures, financing mechanisms, institutional coordination, evidence-to-policy pathways, and implementation capacity within African agrifood systems. It highlights the importance of interoperable data systems, sustained institutional learning, regional collaboration, and evidence-aligned policymaking to support sustainable food systems transformation in Africa.Item FDN 07 Status of Agricultural Innovations, Innovation Platforms and Innovations Investment in Program of Accompanying Research for Agricultural Innovation in Malawi(2016-01-21) David Kamangira, Kondwani Makoko, Grace Timanyechi Munthali and Lawrent PungulaniItem FDN 08 Status of Agricultural Innovations, Innovation Platforms and Innovations Investment in Program of Accompanying Research for Agricultural Innovation in Mali(2016-01-21) Alpha Oumar Kergna and Daouda DembeleItem FDN 09 Status of Agricultural Innovations, Innovation Platforms and Innovations Investment in Nigeria(2016-01-21) Dayo Phillip, B.Y.
