Abstract
The AASW8 Report of Proceedings 2023 documents the discussions, outcomes, and key highlights of the 8th Africa Agribusiness and Science Week (AASW8) organized by the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa. The event brought together scientists, policymakers, agribusiness leaders, development partners, and farmers to explore strategies for strengthening Africa’s agricultural innovation systems and transforming agrifood systems.
The conference focused on linking science, innovation, and agribusiness for resilient and sustainable food systems in Africa, while addressing critical themes such as digitalization, intra-African trade, youth and women participation, agroecology, and climate resilience.
